This private integration connects authorised Google Nest devices to a personal Home Assistant installation.

Data accessed

The integration may access Google Nest home and device information, device status, camera livestreams, camera events, doorbell events, and event snapshots when explicitly authorised by the Google account owner.

How data is used

Google user data is used only to provide Nest functionality within the owner’s private Home Assistant installation.

Storage

Home Assistant may retain device states, events, history, or media according to the configuration of the owner’s Home Assistant system. Google-hosted Nest data remains subject to Google’s applicable policies.

Sharing

Google user data is not sold, rented, used for advertising, or disclosed to unrelated third parties. Data is processed only as necessary to operate the private Home Assistant integration and the services required to provide it.

Access and revocation

The Google account owner may revoke the integration’s access at any time through their Google Account or by removing the integration from Home Assistant.
